Donkey Kong 3 is the third level of Barrel Blast Jungle in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. Mini Donkey Kong is the only Mini that is allowed in the level.

Overview[edit]

Mini Donkey Kong begins in the top right of the level, with the amiibo Door on the bottom right of the level. To reach the door, the player must tap on Mini Donkey Kong, who will fall into a Barrel Cannon; after tapping the Barrel Cannon, Mini Donkey Kong collects five Red Girders before firing out of two Blast Barrels and back into the Barrel Cannon. The player should then draw a Red Girder to the left of this Barrel Cannon so that Mini Donkey Kong hits the girder after he is fired out of the Barrel Cannon. Mini Donkey Kong is then fired out three Blast Barrels before landing in a horizontally-moving Barrel Cannon near the bottom, collecting five more Red Girders on the way. Once this Barrel Cannon moves all the way to the left, the player should tap it to blast Mini DK to a Barrel Cannon below two walls of Spikes, then tap that cannon to shoot him to the lower of two vertically-moving cannons on the left while collecting five more Red Girders. Next, the player should draw a slope up to a Blast Barrel at the top of the level, then fire Mini DK out so he can Quick Climb up and blast out. They must also draw a girder above some Spikes near the bottom, causing Mini Donkey Kong to fall into a Blast Barrel at the bottom and shoot through some rocks and into a horizontally-moving cannon. After the player taps this cannon at its rightmost point to send Mini DK to the final cannon, they must draw a vertical girder to the right of the amiibo door to turn Mini DK around after he blasts out, completing the level.

amiibo Tokens[edit]

The regular amiibo Token is located at the top of the level, between a Blast Barrel and some rocks. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after reaching the first horizontally-moving Barrel Cannon, they should draw a girder underneath the rocks, then fire the Barrel Cannon. They should then fire the cannon near the girder at its highest point so Mini Donkey Kong can Quick Climb up the slope and into the amiibo Token.

The Golden amiibo Token is located at the top left of the screen. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after reaching the Barrel Cannon below the two walls of Spikes, they should draw two slopes leading to the Barrel Cannon in the top left, then, after Mini Donkey Kong climbs up, tap the cannon at its highest point to fire him into the amiibo Token.
