Luigi 1 is the first level of Moonlight Mansion in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. This level introduces candles and Boos. Mini Luigi is the only Mini that is allowed in the level.

Overview

Mini Luigi begins at the bottom left of the level, with the amiibo Door on a ledge in the top right. To reach the door, the player must remove the candle near Mini Luigi to disable the solid blocks surrounding him, then tap on Mini Luigi while the Boo to the right of him moves up. They should then place the candle in between the two Boos at the bottom so Mini Luigi can use his High Jump to leap over several sets of blocks without getting hurt by the Boos. After falling down, Mini Luigi enters a yellow Warp Pipe in the bottom right and exits another yellow pipe near the top right. The player should then place the candle to the left of the top right pipe after Mini Luigi passes through the invisible block wall, but before he steps on the three blocks to the left of this wall. This allows Mini Luigi to enter a red pipe and exit in the top left. After this, the player must place the candle in the bottom left space to allow Mini Luigi to jump up several ledges near the top, then place it in between the red and yellow pipes to stun a Boo near the amiibo Door. Mini Luigi will leap over two walls of blocks and enter the door, completing the level.

amiibo Tokens

The regular amiibo Token is on some blocks above the entrance to the bottom right Warp Pipe. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Luigi uses his High Jump to clear the first two sets of blocks, they must place the candle to the left of the yellow pipe in the bottom right. This allows the blocks below the amiibo Token to become solid so Mini Luigi can jump onto them and grab the token.

The Golden amiibo Token is on a ledge at the top of the level. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Luigi jumps up the ledges near the top, they must place the candle in between the two walls of blocks near the door to make him turn around. Next, they should place the candle in the middle-left passage so Mini Luigi can High Jump onto some blocks and a ledge near a Boo in the top left, then place it below the amiibo Token ledge so he can jump up to the ledge and fall into the token.
