amiibo Tokens are items in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge that are found within some stages. They are used to unlock levels in the Star World. One side of the tokens have the face of whichever Mini Toy is being used, while the other face has the shortened logo for amiibo.
Golden variants, called Golden amiibo Tokens, are also found in levels and are worth five normal amiibo Tokens.
The following levels require the following amounts of amiibo Tokens to unlock:
