Bunmawashi Dolls[1] are enemies that only appear in Yoshi's Crafted World; specifically in the level, Be Afraid of the Dark.
Description
Bunmawashi Dolls are yarn, clown-like dolls that will try to attack Yoshi with an axe. They constantly walk around with drooping hands, occasionally looking around if Yoshi is near them. When the Bunmawashi Doll spots Yoshi, it will screech and then quickly run into him, trying to chop him with its axe. If they manage to hit him, it will do heavy damage. Sometimes, they will appear out of nowhere if Yoshi activates an item such as a Winged Cloud.
Bunmawashi Dolls are invincible and cannot be defeated by any means; however, they are sensitive to light, which will stun them for a few seconds if exposed. They can also be avoided by jumping to higher ground, but only if it's out of reach for their axes. Lower ground can also work since they cannot fall off ledges. In addition, They can unintentionally help Yoshi by breaking crates.
