Blasta Mechakoopas are a variant of Mechakoopas that first appear in Super Mario Maker 2. They are red and pink colored versions of standard Mechakoopas that fire homing Bull's-Eye Bill-like missiles from their mouths. These missiles explode shortly after being launched, which are capable of destroying blocks and defeating enemies. A similar enemy, the Zappa Mechakoopa, appears alongside them in the game's 3.0.0 update. In the night theme, they gain rocket boosters, and can fly for a short period of time.
