This article is about the character. For the boss stages he appears in, see Kreepy Krow (Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest level) and Kreepy Krow (Donkey Kong Land 2 level).

Template:Character-infoboxTemplate:Quote2 Kreepy Krow is the undead ghost form of Krow, after his death in Krow's Nest. Kreepy Krow is the boss of Gloomy Gulch in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, where he appears in his eponymous boss stage.

Boss battle against Kreepy Krow

After Diddy and Dixie defeat Krow in Gangplank Galleon, his spirit leaves his body and flies off (which is only shown in the Game Boy Advance). Later on their journey, the Kongs find Kreepy Krow on another crow's nest in Gloomy Gulch. The battle takes place on three different floors. On the first floor, Kreepy Krow sends three ghost Mini-Neckies and a regular one to charge at the Kongs. Jumping on the normal one somehow spawns a Barrel. When this happens, Kreepy Krow flaps in a set pattern, attempting to injure the Kongs. They must quickly throw the Barrel to attack Kreepy Krow, and he then flies upward.

While the Kongs climb to the next floor, Kreepy Krow drops large eggs at them. They must avoid the eggs to find Kreepy Krow on the next floor. Unlike last time, Kreepy Krow summons five ghost Mini-Neckies and a normal one, all of whom swoop faster. The Kongs must jump on the live Mini-Necky again and toss the spawned Barrel at Kreepy Krow. He flaps upward again, and then drops eggs while the Kongs climb on the rope but at a faster rate.

On the third floor, the Kongs must avoid seven ghost Mini-Neckies and jump on another regular one. They all swoop a rate even quicker than the previous two floors. The Kongs can jump on the third Mini-Necky and throw the Barrel at Kreepy Krow to defeat him and earn his Banana Bunch Coin.

In the Super NES version, Kreepy Krow does not appear as a member of the "Barnacled Bosses" group. However, in the Game Boy Advance version, he does appear as one.

Kreepy Krow's reappearance in Donkey Kong Land 2

Kreepy Krow resumes his role as Gloomy Gulch's boss in Donkey Kong Land 2. Unlike Donkey Kong Country 2, it is not evident that Kreepy Krow is undead because him and Krow share the same sprites. This is most likely because the Game Boy's palette is limited to a few colors.

At the start of the boss battle, Kreepy Krow sends four Mini-Neckys (it is unknown where they are alive or undead). Unlike the previous game, Diddy and Dixie are not required to defeat any of the Mini-Neckys because an egg, instead of a Barrel, falls on the stage after each one is dodged. The active Kong must throw it at Kreepy Krow. The pattern repeats a second time. After being hit again, Kreepy Krow flies upward, and drops eggs at the active Kong while they climb up.

On the second floor, Kreepy Krow sends four more Mini-Neckies to attack the active Kong. Unlike last time, the egg briefly bounces after falling down. The Kongs must throw the egg at Kreepy Krow. Like on the lower floor, this cycle repeats again. After the fourth hit, Kreepy Krow is defeated, and the Kongs earn his relinquished Kremkoin.
