Mario traversing the secret level accessed via the Yoshi-Go-Round.

The Yoshi-Go-Round is a small ride located within Pinna Park on Isle Delfino in Super Mario Sunshine. The ride features several seats shaped like different-colored Yoshis (6 orange ones and 4 pink ones) and two seats shaped like the cracked lower half of a Yoshi Egg with wheels on the bottom. The top of the ride appears to be styled after a red Mushroom and covers the other parts of the ride. The ride itself appears to be geared more toward Pianta and Noki children, rather than toward adults. In Episode 6 of Pinna Park, The Yoshi-Go-Round's Secret, one of the Yoshi seats on the Yoshi-Go-Round is missing, specifically an orange one. The park director tells the player that after the orange Yoshi seat became broken, the funds to fix it were lacking, and therefore it was simply removed.

In order to successfully complete the mission, Mario must locate Yoshi's egg within Pinna Park and feed him the Fruit required to release him from the egg. If the Fruit has not already caused Yoshi to turn orange in color, the player must find another Fruit that will cause Yoshi to turn orange, as the player cannot proceed otherwise. Once these conditions have been met, Mario must ride Orange Yoshi to the Yoshi-Go-Round and position him in the place of the missing Yoshi seat, at which point Mario will be transported to a secret area. Mario must traverse this secret area without F.L.U.D.D. to recover the mission's Shine Sprite. The secret area itself features some Yoshi references, including moving blocks with spots, which strongly resemble Egg Blocks.
