The Chief Production Officer was Satoru Iwata, but the general managers are Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka.
On September 14, 2015, Nintendo announced plans to merge EAD and the game development arm of Nintendo SPD into a new division known as Nintendo Entertainment Planning and Development, effective September 16.[1]
