Shiny Koopa Troopas are a rare species of Koopa Troopa that appear in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. They look like normal red or green Koopas except that they shimmer, similar to shiny stickers. A Shiny Koopa's only attack is going into its shell and hurling itself at Mario. Shiny Green Koopas can be encountered in battle normally and attack faster, but a Shiny Red Koopa can only be fought if a Shiny Koopa Paratroopa has lost its wings. Shiny Red Koopas are stronger than Shiny Green Koopas but Shiny Red Koopas act like normal Koopa Troopas.
