Template:Character-infobox Silver the Hedgehog is a recurring character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a fourteen year old hedgehog who comes from at least two-hundred years in the future. He commonly travels through time to help Sonic and his friends. He has the ability to use psychokinesis, but unlike most hedgehogs from the Sonic series, he has no super speed. His voice actor used to be Pete Capella but now it is Quinton Flynn.

Silver the Hedgehog made a cameo on the Green Hill Zone stage along with Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Shadow the Hedgehog. He also appears as a trophy and a Sticker in the game.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, one of Sonic's alternate colors strongly resembles Silver.

Silver makes his second playable appearance in the third installment of the Mario & Sonic series, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. He is a Skill type character in the Wii version and is part of the Challengers in the 3DS version.
