The 8 bits (sometimes called the 8 bit Club) is the name of an organization of Shy Guys, Beezos, and Snifits that aided Wart in his conquest of the land of dreams, Subcon, in Super Mario Bros. 2. Their name is a reference to the Nintendo Entertainment System's bit number: eight.
