If the [[Kong]]s visit him after obtaining [[Bowling ball (Donkey Kong Country 3)|bowling ball]], Bazooka decides to use it as ammunition for Big Bessie, which can then blast Dixie and Kiddy up to a [[secret cave]], Sky-High Secret.


When [[Dixie Kong]] and [[Kiddy Kong]] first venture through Mekanos, Bazooka will be unable to help them, for he does not have any ammunition for Big Bessie. However, should the [[Kong]]s visit Bazooka once they obtain the [[Bowling Ball]] from [[Blue's Beach Hut]], they can use it as ammunition for the cannon, and allow Bazooka to blast them to [[Banana Bird Cave|Sky-High Secret]].
The location was renamed in the [[Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)|remake]]. The interior was changed to an artillery bunker, complete with a lookout window, some missile shells, a metal-like exterior, and Big Bessie atop the roof. Bazooka is standing behind a tall barrier made up of several sandbags.

Brigadier Bazooka Bear, originally Bazooka's Barracks is the home of Bazooka in Mekanos in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and the location of his cannon, Big Bessie. Bazooka's Barracks becomes accessible once Dixie and Kiddy Kong complete Mekanos' first level, Fire-Ball Frenzy.
