The Pianta Village Mayor is the mayor of the village known as Pianta Village. He mostly hangs around a gold Mushroom in the middle of the city with his mother. He is also known to go down to the entrance when a catastrophe is happening (Such as when the Chain Chomp Keeper accidentally lets her Pets loose.) He can be a little childish at times, often wanting to indulge in very dangerous activities that may harm him, such as holding onto Fluff in the Fluff Festival, but he is also known to be very brave as shown when he chose to stay behind to evacuate all the villagers during a Coo Coo attack on the village. He seems to have a wife, but she is never seen. The mayor also has a secret cash stash, located in the Sun. If Mario sprays the cash stash with F.L.U.D.D. in the 8th episode of Pianta Village, he will earn a Shine Sprite.

Pianta, Super Mario Sunshine

The Pianta mayor,[1] or simply the mayor, is the mayor of Pianta Village in Super Mario Sunshine. He mostly hangs around a gold Mushroom in the middle of the city with his mother, who is an orange female Pianta wearing glasses. He is also known to go down to the entrance when a catastrophe is happening (such as when one particular Pianta accidentally lets her pets loose). The Pianta mayor is shown to be reckless, such as holding on to floating fluffs during the Fluff Festival, but his bravery is shown at one point when he decided to stay behind to evacuate all the villagers during a Plurp attack on the village. The mayor also has a secret cash pile, which is located in the sun. If Mario sprays the cash pile with FLUDD in Episode 8 of Pianta Village, he will earn a Shine Sprite. The Pianta mayor's wife, who is never seen, is also said to have a cash pile, as a female Pianta next to a tree with fruit mentions in Episode 5, and hers is located in the moon, which contains a blue coin.

The Pianta mayor also appears as a Villager type in the Super Mario Mash-up of Minecraft alongside the Isle Delfino Police, the hotel manager, and some other standard Piantas.
