A Slow Mushroom, originally known as a Slow Shroom, is a Mushroom found in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. A Slow Shroom heals two HP every turn for ten turns. Slow Shrooms are sold at the Deepdown Depot for fifteen Coins.

If Zess T. cooks a Slow Shroom with a Point Swap or Inky Sauce, she will end up making a Poison Mushroom. If she cooks it with a Turtley Leaf or a Golden Leaf, she will make a Mushroom Broth.

In Super Paper Mario, the Long-Last Shake has a similar role.
