The Wakebeam is a giant multi-colored beam that the Zeekeeper can use in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. It is only used once in the game, to shatter the forcefield surrounding Neo Bowser Castle. The legendary power of the Wakebeam, as alluded to by Prince Dreambert, is partially what prompts Mario and Luigi to find the Zeekeeper. The Wakebeam is also referenced in The Legend of Pi'illo Island, books about Pi'illo Island's past written by Pi'illoper.
The attack starts with the Zeekeeper completely opening his three eyes, followed by charging a ball of energy. This energy is blasted at the forcefield, weakening its defenses. The Zeekeeper flies through the barrier, destroying it and sending the castle crashing down.
This use of the Wakebeam exhausts the Zeekeeper completely. He says it has been a while since he unleashed the Wakebeam. The Zeekeeper is unable to act until the game's ending.
The Wake Orb, fired by the Zeekeeper as part of the Zee Egg attack, resembles the Wakebeam.
