Alex95 has been blocked indefinitely from editing the Super Mario Wiki for sitewide staff consensus regarding his behavior with alleged fraud and admitted account sharing.

Status: Fairly active. Other priorities are taking...priority, but I'm still around and can be contacted. Will be days where I just don't show up.

Please don't ask why I reverted or corrected your edit. Usually, I have a good reason and can back it up. Take a look at my contributions or the page history for more information regarding your edit, if available. If you must, you can ask for clarification, but only if you provide more than "Why did you delete my edit?!" (which will get removed).

Questions about my Power Master games and/or YouTube videos are fine. There are other places for those kinds of talk, of course, but I don't mind them on here.

Not usually. If you get blocked here, you won't get blocked on SmashWiki, for example. Unless you did something very wrong.

Bowser Castle music (Mario Kart DS)[edit]

I listened to both MKDS's Bowser Castle and Michael Jackson's Black or White, and they don't sound at all the same to me. Bowser Castle is actually a slowed down remix of the Airship Fortress theme at times. If there are specific points in the soundtracks you are referring to, point me to them, but I'm pretty sure any connections are coincidental.

I found some errors on MarioWiki:Glossary. What's in bold is how I believe the text should be corrected.

In the "Bad writing" section, after "Summaries that aren't," "Pseudo-walkthroughs," "Padding," "Mario mania," "Everything but the kitchen sink," "Captain Obvious," "Flowery writing," "Epic writing," "Gridmark," "Reading between the lines," "Unsupported analysis," "Judgement calls," "Knitting everything together," "Fan worship," and "Fusing gameplay and story elements," change the hyphen to an en dash.
""Peach is kidnapped by Bowser and Mario sets off to rescue her." is plot. "Mario traversed the grassy plains of World 1 and used Super Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, and rare Invincibility Stars to defeat new foes and challenge the False Bowser waiting for him at the castle." is not plot. Since "bot" uses a plural definition, I think the word should be "bots."
"Cover version (often shortened to cover)" (Put the second "cover" in quotation marks.)
"Not to be confused with remix." (Put "remix" in quotation marks.)
"It is equivalent to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), from which all other time zones are offset."
"Not to be confused with cover version." (Put "cover version" in quotation marks.)

Sentence structure[edit]

This sentence has been like this on Aces High since near the page's creation: "The only way the player can get rid of the following Bullet Bill is to do an off-course and get rid of it." I think by "off-course", it means the player has to flying into the course's barrier, which will make them do an immediate U-Turn. The action would result in the Bullet Bill flying past them. I haven't played MP3 in a long time, but that's how I'm understanding it.

Mario jc did reply to my question, saying, "Maybe it can be changed to 'The only way the player can evade a Bullet Bill pursuing them is to veer away from its trajectory.' but this is based on footage I watched since I don't own the game." Now I'm wondering whether the sentence is referring to how a player can get rid of a Bullet Bill he or she launched or how a player can avoid it, the former sounding more likely. I think "following Bullet Bill" is referring the the Bullet Bill that is going after a player. I think this might work: "If being chased by a Bullet Bill, the player needs to head toward the arena's barrier, which will cause them to automatically turn around and make the Bullet Bill miss." Someone with MP3 should verify, however. If only there was some kind of retro digital service Nintendo could've put this game on...

Underwater[edit]

If I can suggest something, water/swimming is a common mechanic throughout the Mario franchise that I think might be worth making an article for it, like lava and poison. Maybe a "Water" article can be created covering its appearances and effects in games, including the Mario Kart underwater sections.

Ban[edit]

To explain in short before other users question the reason, Alex95 is banned due to a sitewide consensus on our Discord channel: he had been asking large sums of money from multiple community members, and while he likely not directly involved with the alleged fraud that may have happened, he was still heavily complicit in his situation and we are banning him for the general safety of the community. He has also admitted that he shared his account with a third party who may have involved with the alleged fraud. Due to that, his ranks have additionally been stripped. Shortcuts that don't have these triggers, as in unintended shortcuts, would work I think. An action that would usually just grant a user a warning would instantly get them blocked even if they did not do that action before, if they have a last warning. However, if they just had a regular warning, they would just get another regular warning.
