The stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Yoshi's Island is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is based on the level Yoshi's Island 1 from Super Mario World. The stage is enclosed by a slope on one side and a diagonal Warp Pipe supported by two small pipes on the other. There is a hole in the middle covered by a few Rotating Blocks, though hitting them puts fighters at risk of falling into the hole and being KO'd. There are also two groups of Rotating Blocks floating on the stage serving as additional platforms. In the background, various Super Mario World enemies can be seen.

Several events take place on Yoshi's Island, including Event 10: All-Star Match 1 (Mario's match) and Event 24: The Yoshi Herd in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Event 29: All-Star Semifinal Regulars in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and King of the Yoshis in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

When playing on Yoshi's Island three times in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the player unlocks the Virtual Console trial of Super Mario World.[1]

Yoshi's Island can be seen in the reflection on Metal Mario's trophy in Melee, if it is zoomed-in close enough.[2]
