The attack starts where [[Mario]] jumps off of [[Luigi]] and spins where it's shown on the bottom screen. The bottom screen will now show an arrow, telling the player which way the circles should be made. If the player is able to get two successful attacks, the third one is the finally attack, and is the one to determine if the Bros. get an Excellent rating. However, if the player does not make enough spins on the first or second attacks, the attack will end.
The attack has Giant Luigi [[jump]] and spin in one direction, while [[Mario]] jumps off of Giant Luigi and spins in the opposite direction. Mario spins faster if the player draws circles clockwise or counterclockwise to match Mario's spin, with the direction indicated by an  incomplete circle on the Touch Screen with an arrow in that direction. After some time, Mario and Giant Luigi come crashing down on the enemy while spinning. If the player spins fast enough, they get a "Good!" rating and the Bros. bounce back into the air for a second stomp. Similarly, succeeding again prompts a "Great!" rating and a third and final stomp. Succeeding with that rewards an "Excellent!" rating. The direction the player spins in is never clockwise or counter-clockwise all three times. If the player is unable to get "Good!" and "Great!" on the first two jumps, the attack ends there. An "OK!" is provided for not spinning fast enough on the first stomp, and doing the same for the later stomps repeats the last received rating. Mario will be exhausted after using Drill Stomp, preventing Bros. Attacks from being used until he recovers.

Like the Rhythm Mushroom, Mario will be exhausted, even if the player did not get an Excellent attack.

Drill Stomp from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
The attack being used against Mount Pajamaja.

Drill Stomp is a Bros. Attack performed by Giant Luigi in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. The move icon is a large green drill underneath a small red drill. This move is unlocked during the battle against Mount Pajamaja.

The attack has Giant Luigi jump and spin in one direction, while Mario jumps off of Giant Luigi and spins in the opposite direction.
