Overview
When the stage starts, Yoshi finds himself in the first jungle/forest area, as opposed to the last levels that all took place in fields, in the sky or underground. The player must walk forward and eat the Melon Bugs around, except for the last one. This one should be eaten but not swallowed, so the player can throw it down at the Piranha Plant, and then pick it up again, and use it to throw it at the Special Flower. Also, where the Piranha Plant was there is a secret ? Cloud. Yoshi must use one of his eggs for some stars. As Yoshi continues his way, he encounters a row of Tap-Taps. As Yoshi continues forward, the player notices a locked door. For now, he or she must skip it and continue going on, dodging the Tap-Taps and collecting the coins stuck in the dirt. As he proceeds, the player finds a pipe with Shy Guys frequently coming out of it. Yoshi must eat as many of these as possible and then go back to where the door was. There is a melon hanging from one of the vines. The player must lick it up, and get on the platform above the door by jumping from the platforms to the right (where there is a silver Tap-Tap walking). Yoshi has to shoot the dirt with the melon and grab the Special Flower and the two Flashing Eggs. Alternatively, the player may just throw the dirt eggs, instead of using the melon, though it is more convenient to use the melon. Now Yoshi must throw an egg to the dirt above to uncover a ? Cloud. Upon throwing an egg at it, the key to the door below appears. The door leads him to a minigame against a Bandit. After the game, the player must go forward and touch the Middle Ring for the next section of the level.

The player starts off in a jungle area with some branches extending out of the ground, that act as platforms. These lead to some Tap-Taps and a series of wooden platforms, with dirt near them. One of the dirt blocks contains a key, which unlocks a Door that allows the player to play a minigame. After the wooden platforms is the Middle Ring. Not long after the Middle Ring, the player will encounter Fuzzies, which if touched will cause Yoshi to become dizzy and will affect his movement. After this section will be a platform, with two Mildes, which leads to the next room.

In the next room are several platforms that go down when the player stands on them, if they Ground Pound them the platform gets destroyed, at the end of the room is the Goal Ring. Above the branch extending out of the path is some dirt that contains a Spring Ball, which is used to access a secret area. In the secret area are several Mufti Guys, Crazee Dayzees, an Eggo-Dil and a Chomp Rock. The Chomp Rock needs to be used to reveal an invisible Winged Cloud that contains a seed that creates a Beanstalk that leads to some cloud platforms that have Red Coins and another Winged Cloud on them.
Once the Middle Ring has been touched, the player must grab the Special Flower in the way and pick up the red coins. Just a few steps from there, the player can spot the first Fuzzies in the level. Avoiding them is not necessary, as they do no harm, but is recommended, as they can make jumping and aiming notably harder. After walking and hopefully dodging the Fuzzies flying a round for a bit, the player encounters an Egg Block, in case Yoshi needs eggs. Just forward is another Special Flower. Upon continuing, the player should see a ? Cloud. Throwing an egg at it reveal stars, so it is highly recommended for the player to not be "dizzy" when shooting it. As the player keeps going on, he or she finds a collection of coins and a Special Flower. After grabbing all these, the player must just continue. There are some platform jumping in the way, with some Mildes in the way, but it's nothing Yoshi can't go through. At the very far right there is an easy-to-notice ? Cloud just floating there. The player should throw an egg at it for it to provide the player with more stars. As the player advances, he or she encounters a new zone.

This new zone takes place above some water. There are no enemies in this area, so the only thing worth mentioning are platforms or bridges that, when stepped on, lower a little. These can be Ground Pounded, so they break. Yoshi can then jump in the water and grab some coins. Interestingly, there's also a secret area. Yoshi must get on top of the log and jump. A bouncer appears. Yoshi must use to get to a secret area high in the sky. This area has some Mufti Guys and Crazee Dayzee, as well as a flower which petals can be eaten over and over again for eggs. The player finds the place empty at first, but the key is to move the Chomp Rock to the far left enough for a ? Cloud to be revealed. Throwing an egg at it results in a sunflower growing in place. If Yoshi climbs this sunflower, he finds the last remaining red coins of the level, as well as another ? Cloud containing stars, in case the player needs them. The player must now take the pipe, which takes him or her back to the last area. Yoshi must just advance forward and touch the Ring for the level to finish.
