Parry the Parallel Bird is one of the Kong's many Animal Buddies. He only appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Unlike the other animal buddies, Parry cannot be riden, but stays perfectly parallel to Kiddy and Dixie Kong's moves , hence the name. Parry can grab any item he hits, making him a wonderful tool and ally. Also, if he gets to the No Animal Sign, the Kongs will usually get a large reward such as a Bonus Barrel or a blue Life Balloon.
