Parry the Parallel Bird.

Parry the Parallel Bird is one of the Kong's many Animal Buddies. He only appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. He perfectly parallels Kiddy and Dixie Kong's moves and grabs any item he hits, making him a wonderful tool. Also, if he gets to the No Animal Sign, the Kongs will usually get a large reward such as a Bonus Barrel.

Getting Parry to the No Animal Sign can be difficult as contact with any enemy (mostly Buzzes) will instantly defeat poor Parry. Of course, Parry can easily defeat any Booty Birds in his path without getting hurt. Parry is also the only non-rideable Animal Buddy to appear in Squeals on Wheels, Rocket Barrel Ride, Barrel Drop Bounce, Ropey Rumpus, and Stampede Sprint.
