Template:Level Dingy Drain-Pipe is the thirty-first level in the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is also the first area of Pacifica.

This level is set in a partially-flooded pipeline. The Kongs must swim through the green water and travel through the dark pipeline, jumping in and out of small passages. In some areas of the level, the water level will lower, preventing the monkeys from backtracking. The stage can sometimes become brutal for the Kongs, but luckily, Enguarde the Swordfish appears for a short period of time to help the apes defeat several Kocos inhabiting the level. Bristles, Buzzes, Lurchins, and Re-Koils can also be found in various parts of the level.

Secrets

Bonus Levels

  • Shortly after the heroes enter the water, they will pass many Lurchins. As they travel, they should notice a gap at the top of the area. Swimming upwards, they will find a Bonus Barrel in the gap. The barrel will lead them into a Bonus Level, where they will need to run through a square-shaped area and collect stars. With the assistance of Barrel Cannons, they should eventually get all the stars and find the Bonus Coin at the bottom of the area.
  • After passing the No Animal Sign, the Kongs should move on until the water drains. Once the green liquid does disappear, they will have to head east past a few Bristles to find a small gap above them. If the monkeys use their Team Up move at this point, throwing a Kong upwards, they will reach a Bonus Barrel. The barrel will then take them into a Bonus Level, where the apes will swim downwards through the pipeline and grab many stars. The water level will decrease a little as they reach the end, so they will need to make sure they didn't pass any stars at the end of the area. Once fifty-five stars are obtained, a Bonus Coin will appear at the bottom of the stage.

DK Coin

  • After finding the first Bear Coin above a green Buzz, the monkeys should pass several Bristles and spot a gap in the ceiling. They should use their Team Up move and throw a monkey, preferably Dixie, into the gap, to find themselves in a hidden barrel. The barrel will blast them into a high area, where they will meet a Koin. As usual, the enemy will have the DK Coin, and will not give it up without a fight. Finding the Steel Barrel at the end of the pipeline, they should gently throw the barrel against a wall and follow it back to the Koin. Hopping over the foe, the Koin will keep his attention on the Kongs, not watching the barrel rolling behind him. Eventually, the keg will hit and defeat him, thus giving the Kongs the DK Coin.
