'''Avoid-a-Roid''' is one of the many [[microgames]] in ''[[WarioWare: Twisted!]]''. It this one, the player controls a red airplane, which is on a handheld with red and black graphics. The handheld itself is yellow, and there's a big blue wheel to control the plane. The player is supposed to simply avoid the 'roids. They are red too, but they have three holes in them that make the meteors look like a face. The second dificulty introduces a giant comet. When two little comets come from the side, the big one will be smack in the middle. The player will have just enough space to squirm through the meteors. The third dificulty tries to trick whoever's playing. As soon as the player starts, an asteroid will slowly fall towards him. Don't fly to the side, because two very fast comets start to crash down from the side. After they pass, then the sides are safe.

Avoid-a-Roid is a microgame in WarioWare: Twisted! in Mona's stage. It is also shown in the game's intro as a minigame, though it is not played inside the unique handheld appearing there, but rather on a standard Game Boy Advance. The name is a portmanteau of the words "avoid" and "asteroid".

Gameplay[edit]

The player controls an aircraft-like ship. The objective of the game is to tilt (Tilt motion control) the GBA to steer and avoid the meteors. Crashing into any of them will result in losing the microgame.

  • Level 1: Three meteors will fall one after the other in different locations.
  • Level 2: Two small meteors on either side, followed by a larger meteor in the middle, will fall.
  • Level 3: Either one meteor will fall in the center with two more meteors falling more quickly on the sides, or two meteors will fall on the sides with one more meteor falling more quickly in the center.
