It published many ports of Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros. for home computers. Aside from ports from the Super Mario franchise and Donkey Kong franchise, Atari, Inc. is also known for games such as Pong. Atari, Inc. became defunct in 1992; despite this, two successor companies under the Atari brand name remained extant: Atari Corporation and Atari Games.
