Unlike most Kremlings, they are brown, and also wear horned Viking-esque helmets. Also unique is their method of attack: they carry around gigantic, spiked clubs, too heavy for them to handle, which they attempt to smash the Kongs with. If the club hits any the Kongs, two melon slices are taken away from their health meter. If they swing their club overhead and misses, the Kosha struggles to lift it again for a moment.
A gigantic Kosha is stationed near the top of Crystal Caves. It smashes the ceiling of the cave at regular intervals, creating violent tremors that send stalactites raining down in the level, though defeating it stops the stalactites from falling.

Koshas are too powerful even for Chunky Kong to defeat; the only ways to defeat them are to use the selected Kong's instrument, their special power which they gain from the Banana Fairy Queen (the shockwave attack) or touching them while Chunky is under the effects of his Hunky Chunky ability. They are also vulnerable to Oranges if they are thrown when the Kosha is off guard. Koshas are relatively rare, and appear in Gloomy Galleon, Fungi Forest (at night), Crystal Caves, and Creepy Castle.

A gigantic Kosha is stationed in an area near the top of the cavern in Crystal Caves. Every once in a while, the club-toting fiend smashes the ceiling of the cave, creating violent tremors that send boulders and stalactite deposits raining down from the ceiling. He is eventually defeated by Tiny Kong, which stops the avalanches for good.

*The name is a spin on the word "cosh", another name for club.
*Kosha is similar to Kutlass, an enemy from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, in the sense that both are small Kremlings that wield heavy weapons many times their own size. In fact, the Game Boy Advance version gives Kutlass voice clips that are almost identical to Kosha's, but are higher-pitched.
*Kosha's idle animation will involve them accidentally dropping the club onto their own head, only slightly flattening it.

Koshas,[1] also named Clubbies[2][3] or Viking Kremlings,[4] are in Donkey Kong 64. They are olive Kremlings with gray viking helmet. They have a large, spiked club that they struggle to drag along with them, sometimes flattening themselves with it by mistake. They are found at Gloomy Galleon, Fungi Forest (at night), Crystal Caves, and Creepy Castle (including its lobby in DK Isles). If the player character is hit by Kosha, they lose two melon slices. Koshas are resistant and can be defeated either from an orange explosion if they do not see the player character, a musical instrument move, the shockwave ability, or Hunky Chunky. A Kosha yells when defeated before being hit by its own club and dropping two melon slices.

A gigantic Kosha is stationed near the top of Crystal Caves. It smashes the ceiling of the cave at regular intervals, creating violent tremors that send stalactites raining down in the level, though defeating it stops the stalactites from falling.
