Nintendo Sound Selection Vol.1: Healing Music is a compilation album exclusive to Club Nintendo members in Japan. It can be obtained only by redeeming 400 points in Club Nintendo's program, and is followed by Loud Music and B-Side Music. As the album title suggests, it is a collection of calming and relaxing music from a variety of Nintendo games, picked out to calm the mind of the listeners to take a break from the exciting, anxious and frustrating moments in gaming. As such, the CD is themed after Princess Peach, who is often a soothing type of person herself.
There are three tracks from Super Mario 64 and one each from Yoshi's Story, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Bros. 3.
