Phase 4 Films was a film distribution company based in Canada. It was founded in 2009 by Berry Meyerowitz, and later acquired by eOne (now Lionsgate Canada) in 2014.[1] From 2013 to 2014, Phase 4 Films, along with its subsidiary targeted towards children, Kaboom! Entertainment, distributed several region 1 DVDs that consisted of various episodes of the Donkey Kong Country television series. The DVD Donkey Kong Country: The Complete First Season was released in 2015 by eOne following its acquisition of Phase 4 Films.[2]
