Description
"Do doo, doobee doo bop!"
First appearance Paper Mario: Sticker Star (2012)
“This portable party machine requires two Toads to transport, but it's well worth the effort if one wishes to rock anytime and anywhere.”
Sticker Museum plaque, Paper Mario: Sticker Star

The Boom Box (known as the Stereo in the British English version) is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found on the third floor of Wiggler's Tree House, in the stump next to Wiggler's bed. Once collected, it remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 80 coins.

The Boom Box is a medium-sized sticker, taking up 1.5 × 1.5 squares in Mario's album. If used in a battle, it appears behind Mario, playing an arrangement of the Space Zone from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. The player may tap A Button in sync with the music to double Mario's attack power for a couple of turns.

The Boom Box can also be placed into the Sticker Museum as #64, alongside the miscellaneous Things. Its description mentions its adequate portability and satisfying rhythm results.
