- —Cap Kingdom brochure, Super Mario Odyssey
Sometimes Bridge is a location in the Cap Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. It is very similar to Glasses Bridge, which is connected to the other side of Central Plaza. Sometimes Bridge connects the plaza to the base of Top-Hat Tower. It has a double arch and a base shrouded in the sea of clouds. When Mario starts out in this kingdom, the bridge is missing. Throwing Cappy onto the nearby Lever Switch pulls the bridge up out of the clouds, allowing Mario to head to the tower.
Later on, a scarecrow appears on the side of Sometimes Bridge attached to the tower. Tossing Cappy onto the scarecrow makes Power Moon #3, Cap Kingdom Timer Challenge 1, appear on the other side of the bridge. Mario must rush across the bridge and reach the Power Moon before it disappears to collect it.
According to the Cap Kingdom brochure, Sometimes Bridge is affectionately called such due to being built to retract in case of an emergency, explaining it being out of order during Mario's first visit. The brochure recommends using the Lever Switch to restore the bridge.
