Kremwood Forest is the second world of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is located on the same landmass as Lake Orangatanga and is just a short distance north of it. Kremwood Forest is a large, dark and slightly spooky area filled with gigantic trees (some of which Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong must climb). The forest also has a river running through it and a mill nearby said river. This mill, which is infested by Sneeks, looms over Swanky Kong's tent. Its name is a portmanteau of "Kremling" and "Sherwood Forest." Brash Bear appears in his own place the western portion of Kremwood Forest, where the area's secret cave, Arich's Hoard, is also located. If the Kongs beat Brash's best time in Riverside Race, he throws a tantrum, causing a log to fall in the river and granting access into the cave. Kremwood Forest was avoided by various explorers due to "scary tales about a giant spider lurking in the treetops."[1]
