The Cake is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found on the dining room table in The Enigmansion. As Mario is walking around in the loft above the kitchen, he may drop down onto the table and simply collect the cake. It remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a Sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 100 Coins.
As a sticker, the cake takes up four squares in Mario's album. If used in a battle, a large cake appears behind Mario, with a techno arrangement of "Happy Birthday to You" playing in the background.
