This article is about the fruit. For the Spiny Egg-like objects that Piranha Plants sprout from, called "strawberries" in Mario Party Superstars, see Piranha Pod.

Strawberries appear in Super Mario media as interactive objects. One appears in Paper Mario as a key item, while other strawberries are featured across the Mario Party series in minigames.

In Paper Mario, the Strawberry is an ingredient in the cake that Princess Peach uses in an attempt to satisfy Gourmet Guy's hunger. Peach makes the cake after Mario rescues the Star Spirit from the Shy Guy's Toy Box. The strawberry is the last item that Peach has to put in the cream, and she adds it after the cream is put on. Adding more than one of these to the cake will result in Gourmet Guy spitting it out and Peach having to make the cake again.
