Lockjaws are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, behaving identically between both games. When Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong approach a Lockjaw, it clamps its jaws and then lunges at the lead Kong in an attempt to bite them. Lockjaws can only be defeated by Enguarde by stabbing them.
