A Krem Flag

Krem Flags[1] are objects in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! These flags are black and sport a white K (presumably short for "Kremling") in the middle. Krem Flags appear on the map screen, representing the Kremling Krew's control of a level that is impassable unless it has been completed. Krem Flags indicate the next levels that Dixie and Kiddy Kong have not yet completed, and after completing the level, the Krem Flag is changed to a Level Flag.
