Button Masher is a microgame found in the Retro Action stage in WarioWare: Touched! It is very similar to the microgame Famicom.

This microgame can be seen on the reverse box art.

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to mash A Button of the Famicom controller (NES Controller in international releases) to clear the game on screen. None of the games represent an actual Family Computer or Nintendo Entertainment System game, but all of them are inspired by games of the 8-bit era.

  • 1st level difficulty: A space shooter game. The player must shoot bullets from a spaceship continuously to defeat a group of aliens.
  • 2nd level difficulty: An explorer game. The player must time the explorer's punches to destroy incoming flying urns.
  • 3rd level difficulty: A boxing game based on the microgame Punch Out from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!
