- —Sticker Museum plaque, Paper Mario: Sticker Star
The Watch Battery is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found at the very start of Tree Branch Trail in the small poison moat. It can be collected before or after the poison is cleared away, although it is much harder to spot beforehand. It remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a Sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 50 Coins.
As a sticker, the Watch Battery takes up only one square in Mario's album. If and when it is used in battle, the scenery changes, revealing it in the background as it starts to shake. The player must tap as it zaps the enemies onscreen to deal a fair amount of damage.
The Watch Battery can also be placed into the Sticker Museum as #26, alongside the other electrical Things. Its description identifies it as a reliable power source and warns against ingesting it.
