Replay is a minigame that appears in the Nintendo DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Replay is used as the minigame for all five doors of the Olympic Trivia section of the Gallery, and is based around remembering and repeating a sequence.

Gameplay

In this game, the player must repeat the order of buttons pressed on the top screen on the Touch Screen. Each button features the Emblem of a character and plays one of two of their soundclips when pressed. The eight characters used for the buttons are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman, with a random selection of these emblems used for each game. The player has three lives and loses one each time they make a mistake, though if they make a mistake they will be given a new sequence to repeat. If the player does not input the sequence fast enough, they will also lose a life. As the minigame progresses, the player must remember longer sequences, with the number of buttons in the sequence increasing after every two successful repetitions. The player clears the minigame by successfully repeating five sequences without losing all three lives.
