"It's tapered to a needle-sharp point. Place it on your desk to keep yourself awake. It's more effective than coffee!" | |
First appearance | Paper Mario: Color Splash (2016) |
The Sharp Spike is an item in Paper Mario: Color Splash. It is first seen sitting on Prof. Kinopio's desk. It is given to Mario by the professor as a gift after he brings Princess back to Château Chanterelle. The professor tells Mario that the spike is "as sharp as the spine on a Spiny." At Kiwano Temple, there is a Spiny Shell-shaped object on the door, and the spike can fit into a hole in it. When the spike is placed in the hole, the door opens.
