Blue's Beach Hut is the home of Blue in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! It is located at the entrance to Cotton Top Cove.

In the Super Nintendo version, Blue's Beach Hut takes place in a cabin like the other Brothers Bear's locations. It has a calendar with the date of his alleged birthday marked, January 16th. According to the British calendar, the day of the week is the same as 1991 or 2002, which month began on a Tuesday. Blue's Beach Hut has a slowed-down, downtrodden variant of the Brothers Bear theme playing as its background music.

In the Game Boy Advance remake, like the other Brothers Bear locations, Blue's Beach Hut was redesigned, and its background music was made identical to the other Brothers Bear locations. The whole interior is decorated with party favors, including balloons, cards, birthday cake, and presents. His place also received a bookshelf and fireplace, although the calendar was removed. The liveliness of Blue's Beach Hut directly contrasts with his sadness.

History

When Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong visit Blue's Beach Hut, they discover that Blue is sad because the rest of the Brothers Bear failed to bring him a present for his birthday. However, if the Kongs manage to obtain Blizzard's present from Blizzard's Basecamp, they can deliver it on his behalf. In doing so, Blue becomes very happy, and to reflect this, the background music of Blue's Beach Hut speeds up and becomes more lively (something which does not occur in the Game Boy Advance remake). Blue unwraps the present and finds that it is a bowling ball, which he has no use for, so he allows the Kongs to keep it.
