This article is about the fourth battle course in Super Mario Kart. For other uses of the name "Battle Course", see Battle Course.

Template:Racecourse Battle Course 4 is the last battle course of Super Mario Kart. It is a square-shaped course that uses the Mario Circuit tileset, with walls and sand in the middle. Battle Course 1 of Mario Kart: Super Circuit resembles this track, but is smaller.

Luigi competes in the SNES Battle Course 4 tournament

A tournament took place on the Wii version of the track, where players had to collect a total of 50 coins. Various hazards did appear, such as oil slicks. It was the first tournament of March 2009, and it was later repeated as the first tournament of March 2011, the second of June 2012 and the first tournament of September of 2013.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit

Although they did not appear in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, tilemaps and minimaps exist for all four of the Battle Courses from Super Mario Kart. These could have been used as placeholders before the new ones were completed, or it may have been possible to unlock these courses like the tracks at one point. Unlike all other tracks and battle courses in the game, which are stored in chunks, these are each stored in one piece, as in Super Mario Kart.
