- Not to be confused with Clamber.
Klambers[1], also known as Yellow Spiders[2][3][4] and Scuttle Bugs[5], are yellow, metallic enemies resembling Scuttle Bugs that appear only in Super Mario Sunshine. They can be found in both Ricco Harbor and Pianta Village.
Klambers are usually seen climbing cages or walls, either vertically or upside-down. When Mario encounters a Klamber climbing on a cage, he can kick or Ground Pound in order to defeat it. However, when a Klamber is found climbing on a solid wall, it can only be defeated by using Yoshi to eat it or spray it with juice or eat it. Spraying Klambers with water from F.L.U.D.D. will briefly immobilize them. Unlike Red Electrokoopas, Klambers always knock Mario off the cage if they damage him.
Three of the Klambers in Ricco Harbor release a Blue Coin after being defeated, while others found there and elsewhere may give a regular coin or nothing at all.
