A Mini Bowser Jr. is a wind-up toy modeled after Bowser Jr. and makes his first appearance in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. He is unlocked via a Bowser Jr. amiibo. His unique ability, called the Spike Guard, enables him to cross spiked floors without losing a life, thanks to the mini Junior Clown Car he is always riding. Every time he steps on spiked floors a helicopter sound can be heard and dust is blown from the Clown Car's propeller.
