The Super Happy Tree (sometimes known as the Marvelous Tree of MirthTemplate:Refneeded) is a tree that is only found on Yoshi's Island during the events of the game, Yoshi's Story. It grows every type of fruit available on the island, including the magical Heart Fruit. In Yoshi's Story, Baby Bowser stole the Super Happy Tree for its power. The Yoshis later recovered it. It is the ultimate source of all the Yoshis' happiness on Yoshi's Island. He eventually gives it back to the Yoshis upon being defeated, as they apparently tasted terrible to Bowser.
It later appears in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee in the background of a stage. It also makes a cameo in the background of Yoshi Park during Mario Superstar Baseball.
