A Bonus Coin
Bonus Coins are a type of currency of the Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land series, starting with Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. They are earned by completing bonus games in Bonus Barrels.
In the GameBoy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, Boomer Bear can be paid to blow up different parts of Krematoa, leading to new levels.
