names in anothers languages[edit]
On some pages of episodes of the series "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3." I saw that you changed some sections of 'Names in Anothers Languages. "
1. I am the official translator of Portuguese, so don't worry, i can do all alone
2. Who told you that? I live in Brazil, and I can prove that the episode "Never Koop a Koopa" not called "Never betray the king koopa"
3. Try to be better informed before informing the readers
4. If you are Portuguese-Portugal, and want to translate pages too, ask this guy :D

Hi there. Was there a reason why you kept on re-uploading File:Pit Yoshi.png?

Aboutfile warning[edit]
Hello, TheRaoul1992. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the aboutfile template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below. Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using aboutfile incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Hi, when uploading images, please fix the pre-loaded parameter before you complete the upload. Leaving it like this makes it an inconvenience for other users to fix the template for you. If you don't want to fill it in, you can always delete the parameter, but it is recommended that you learn it. Thanks. Ray Trace(T|C) 14:44, 21 February 2017 (EST)
Hello, TheRaoul1992. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: or Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
You also forgot to categorize your uploads with Category:Yoshi's Woolly World Images. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:22, 21 February 2017 (EST)
You seem to have a thing to want to
to insert your images on List of Yoshi designs in Yoshi's Woolly World. That's not how that works. See Help:Image how that works. content
is transclusing while content
is linking. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:26, 26 February 2017 (EST)
- It's been a few months since your last uploads, so maybe you've forgotten. Please go over this category template again before uploading further. 18:00, 13 October 2017 (EDT)
- Alright. Where you are including

, you instead need to put
. 19:13, 13 October 2017 (EDT)- Please remember the above information, as you are included the transclusion mentioned above instead of the category in your most recent uploads. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:32, 21 February 2018 (EST)

Yo[edit]
Reason for this change? Game hasn't been announced, and it likely won't be for the Wii U. This information has been added several times before on various related pages, but has been reverted quickly, so please don't add this information again until the game has been officially announced. 12:46, 18 November 2017 (EST)
Sponsor Super Mario Odyssey appearances?[edit]
Hi, I noticed that you added on the sponsor page that a bunch of sponsors make a cameo appearance in Super Mario Odyssey, and I was just wondering where exactly in Super Mario Odyssey that was? I've got the game but I haven't seen them personally, so I'm just curious where they are. Could you let me know? BBQ Turtle (talk) 16:23, 7 June 2018 (EDT)
Mario Tennis Aces[edit]
Yo, we don't update the latest appearances for a character until after the game is released. Looks like Mario Tennis Aces officially releases tomorrow. 12:16, 21 June 2018 (EDT)
Please revert the edits you made regarding the character appearances, in accordance with the previous statement and as per policy.Never mind! Forgot about Japan :P You're good! 16:44, 21 June 2018 (EDT)
Minor edits[edit]
Thanks for your recent contributions, however, when you make a small edit like this you need to mark it with the This is a minor edit checkbox before saving the page, as this makes it more convenient to browse thought large edits. Unless if you edit on mobile, as there is no checkbox for marking minor edits on mobile, then feel free to ignore this. Thanks! Doomhiker (talk) 12:00, 17 December 2018 (EST)
Latest appearance[edit]
I've noticed you made multiple edits changing the latest appearance on certain pages to Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. Just so you know, the game isn't supposed to be released until tomorrow in Japan, and the infoboxes aren't updated until the game is released. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 13:52, 26 December 2018 (EST)
- Actually, Japan's time zone is different than most of us Americans. From where I'm from, 8:00 am PT today is actually midnight the next day in Japan. That's why most of those edits were undone, because of the time zone differences. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 14:30, 26 December 2018 (EST)
"Its"[edit]
Hello! When describing something belonging to a game, such as Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story's remake, the possessive adjective "its" should be used, rather than "his". --TheFlameChomp (talk) 18:47, 26 December 2018 (EST)
New subject template[edit]
Just for you know, we don't remove the template directly after the game releases, such as what you did with enemies in their Super Mario Maker 2 appearance. We only remove it a decade after. -- FanOfYoshi 01:53, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
Please stop not listening the above on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
-- FanOfYoshi 02:05, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (Removing the new subject template to articles directly after the release) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
I already reminded you multiple times. An edit like this. -- FanOfYoshi 09:17, July 14, 2019 (EDT)
- While there's no time frame specified in the templates, I've seen us usually go with a month after release; a decade is too long. Once a game is released, upcoming should be changed to just released, whereas new subject remains. These should not be removed directly after release. 12:15, July 14, 2019 (EDT)
Terminology[edit]
NTSC and PAL don't work for Wii U games, like the info you added to Big Urchin. NTSC and PAL are for analog connections, something that doesn't work quite as well on a Wii U because its main connection is digital (HDMI), so NTSC and PAL don't apply there at all. Not only that, but the two terms still wouldn't work, because both American and European versions have different language options and we mainly stick to differences in both English translations. This proposal goes into more specifics on what articles should use the "American" or "British" terminology and which ones should use the NTSC or PAL terminology, though I plan to revisit this at some point in the future. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 14:06, August 19, 2019 (EDT)
File naming scheme[edit]
Hello. For future files, can you please not use parentheses () in file names, in accordance to the image use policy? Thanks! If you need more assistance, I have a guide on my page. Trig - 11:47, November 11, 2019 (EST)
Latest Appearance[edit]
Hello, can you please stop changing Ice Bros latest appearance until he is actually in Dr Mario World? Just because he is in the data mine doesn't mean that's his latest appearance and also even if he is in the files it doesn't always guarantee his appearance even if it's inevitable, because anything can change. --Gamermakerguy (talk) 21:00, December 28, 2019 (EST)
In addition to what Gamermakerguy said, you should check the article's history page first before re-publishing the same edit repeatedly. Click the "history" tab at the top of the page, and someone may have left a reason for removing your edit in a summary; otherwise it's just a string of back-and-forth reverts. Mario JC 06:23, December 29, 2019 (EST)
- You could of mentioned that they appeared on the map in the edit summary or preferably in a section for their appearance in Dr. Mario World, besides Mariowiki is not spoiler free at all, so it doesn't matter, --Gamermakerguy (talk) 20:37, December 29, 2019 (EST)
Luigi's Mansion ghosts[edit]
Please can you remove the top quote from the page and put it in the profile section in the same edit, so I don't have to chase you around and cause it to flood the recent changes a little more. Thank you. Mario Sakuraba (talk) 19:10, June 6, 2020 (EDT)
Prototype images[edit]
Hey, thanks for your recent uploads. Keep in mind we also have Category:Pre-release and unused content images for any unused/prototype content.

The Summary Section[edit]
When uploading a file without a summary/aboutfile, could you please remove the empty sections? Thanks! --DarkNight 21:08, August 20, 2020 (EDT)
Paper Mario: Color Splash "gallery descriptions"[edit]
The enemy descriptions you are putting in do not originate from the gallery, those are the descriptions of their enemy cards. And I don't think they are necessary to have on their articles because those descriptions are meant for the cards themselves. Also, if you are going to put back an edit of yours that was previously reverted, at least say something in your edit summary or discuss it with others first. Nightwicked Bowser
- Then we could probably integrate it into their stat tables, like with the Super Paper Mario catch card descriptions. Nightwicked Bowser
Bowser's Inside Story section header[edit]
Please stop putting the remake's title along with the original game's in the section headers of subjects that are not in the remake (such as Shine Sprite or Fish Bone). If they're only in the original game, only the original game's title needs to be in the section header, and vice versa. Not to mention the section itself even says that they are not in the remake. Nightwicked Bowser
Transparent on JPG files[edit]
Please keep this on mind, but make sure putting a picture with no background in a JPG file will make it still have background. Such as Morton's Dr Mario World artwork for the game, the first uploaded picture was cropped and the one you uploaded wasn't. (T) 3:50, October 23, 2020 (EDT)
Moving files[edit]
Please do not move a file without changing the file names on article that use the file. After moving a file, any pages that still link to the old name (found under "File usage", and "What links here" under "tools" on the navigation bar - the latter is recommended for checking) should be changed to the new name. The old name then should be marked for deletion with delete. Mario JC 20:14, November 4, 2020 (EST)
You're still not doing this. Remember to tag old names for deletion after they're changed on articles, otherwise a reminder will be issued. Mario JC 21:12, January 4, 2021 (EST)
Please stop moving files / tagging redirects for deletion without updating file names on articles on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Mario JC 01:28, March 25, 2023 (EDT)
Please review these messages. Do not mark file redirects for deletion without fixing the file name on the articles first, otherwise it causes the images to not display correctly. Mario JC 23:44, August 9, 2024 (EDT)
List of Power Ups[edit]
Further handling on the article on including ports/remakes is now under discussion in its talk page, so please don't make any more edits regarding this until a consensus is reached. Nightwicked Bowser
Dr. Mario World...... Worlds[edit]
Just so you know, the titles for worlds beyond World 20 don't need to have the game's title in them because no other game has those worlds. That will only be be necessary if other games do get these worlds. Nightwicked Bowser
Using files[edit]
Hello, I recommend you use your images as soon as you upload them, otherwise they go unused and users may end up uploading duplicates (the Bowser's Fury stamps, for example; you had them uploaded but didn't use them before someone else unknowingly uploaded the same ones), which takes up more space on the server. Mario JC 15:41, February 21, 2021 (EST)
Super Mario 3D World remake/port[edit]
It is classified as a port, not a remake, so please stop calling it the latter. Thanks. Nightwicked Bowser 15:54, March 14, 2021 (EDT)
About a file[edit]
Hello. WiKirby would like to use the File:King Dedede Yoshi.png image you uploaded for their references page, but they aren't sure on the source. Was this a direct capture or taken from a video? I'm pretty sure it was a direct capture when you uploaded it, but making sure. 12:09, April 15, 2021 (EDT)
SMB NES files[edit]
A while back, you uploaded a bunch of sprites for NES Super Mario Bros. and its derivatives. However, while I assume you got these from TSR, for a brief period of time recently someone messed up the colors on those rips horribly, which are shared with the ones you uploaded here. They've been fixed on there now, so I'd suggest re-collecting and reuploading them here now that that's been done. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:31, June 9, 2021 (EDT)
- By "a while back," I mean around January. Like the All Night Nippon enemies, for example. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:57, June 9, 2021 (EDT)
- The sprites here, here, and [1] here have had their colors fixed (at least mostly), and now the sprites on MarioWiki need their colors fixed too. Looking again, the TSR ones might still be wrong, but the right colors can still be found here. I'd suggest you reupload with these colors, as they are more accurate to what a real TV would show (since the NES has a lot of poor emulators with bad colors). Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:38, June 9, 2021 (EDT)
Warioware Twisted being removed from the Rocky Wrench page[edit]
Why did you remove Warioware Twisted from the Rocky Wrench page? MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 15:32, October 3, 2021 (EDT)
Alleyway images[edit]
In some of your Alleyway uploads such as File:Alleyway_Stage_06.png you called them "Stage <Number>", even though these are Bonus Stages and not actual stages, which is misleading, as the actual stages have a completely different layout. Is there any specific reason for it? Spectrogram (talk) 03:16, January 31, 2022 (EST)
Broken file links[edit]
Please do not add non-existent file links to articles until they've been uploaded. Mario JC 05:58, April 6, 2022 (EDT)
PNG cropped files[edit]
It was a PNG when the original scan from the source was a JPG (see my first comment here since it also applies to you). Mario JC 21:57, June 18, 2023 (EDT)
Buzzy Beetles in MK8D[edit]
Can you elaborate where in the Booster Course Pass Wave 6 do Buzzy Beetles appear? It would help to add the information to the article or at least elaborate in the edit summary rather than just updating latest appearances as you've done in past edits. Mario JC 07:54, December 24, 2023 (EST)
Grammar[edit]
Remember to use plural verbs for singular subjects (e.g. "A Wonder Seed appears", not "appear") and singular verbs for plural subjects ("Wonder Seeds appear"). Also, you only need to use "an" before a word that begins with a vowel. Mario JC 20:32, December 25, 2023 (EST)
Game Overs[edit]
Hey, thanks for adding even more games and images to the Gallery:Game Over page! I remember getting screenshots from a lot of obscure games for it a few years ago, and I'm glad to see it's still being worked on. Scrooge200 (talk) 20:13, January 12, 2024 (EST)
Deletion request for File:Piranha Plant (Yellow) SSBU.png[edit]
I've deleted the other image (File:Piranha Plant (Yellow) SSBU.png.png) instead while using the one you uploaded. The first image seems to have different coloring and no shadows, which makes it not consistent with the other images of Piranha Plant's Smash Bros colors in Gallery:Piranha Plant. Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 18:38, January 22, 2024 (EST)
File:Teacup'n.png[edit]
Can you upload a separate graysvale version of File:Teacup'n.png please?all of the other sprites are of the colored version. Cheese Head (talk) 20:49, July 23, 2024 (EDT)
Oh, same thing with File:WBFBWarioSprite.png and File:WBFBWarioStartRoundSprite.png Cheese Head (talk) 20:56, July 23, 2024 (EDT)
Beldam in "Super Mario Run"??[edit]
Hey so after a quick discussion in the Discord server, I don't think we should count external key art for a crossover promotion for TTYD in Super Mario Run. As such, I edited the Beldam article again to not count her "appearance" in Super Mario Run because she only appears on the key art for the TTYD event (which matches the game's box artwork too). --EleCyon (talk) 06:33, July 28, 2024 (EDT)
Hey, about the Piranha Plant medals from Dr. Mario World[edit]
I noticed from your uploads of the Piranha Plant medals that they are significantly larger in size than the other medals from the game that you uploaded. Is there a specific reason for this? I Was just curious because I found it quite strange. Unfortunately there's not much else I can do to look into the matter because the original source you got them from is now gone. I figured you'd probably know about it, at the very least.--UM3000
