Sig Problem
Your sig needs to be fix. It doesn't close properly so all the text below your sig is coming out cursive. Put </span> at the end of your sig to fix it. --Reversinator 10:22, 8 April 2011 (EDT)

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about...thanks for answering my question! Also, your sig is really awesome! Wanna be friends? :)

my edit
where in her skills or abilities section does it state her ability to undo Bowsers curse Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)
so with that logic we should also erase the fact that she can throw Vegetables and that she can float using her dress from the SMB2 part of the article Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)
that doesn't make any sense you know she can do it that's like saying ive never seen my uncle so he must not be real the fact is that it is a power that she has and is accepted and should be put in the section Iggykoopa (talk)
- Mario4Ever, please stop edit warring with Goomba's Shoe. Respond to his posts before undoing his edits again. I am putting a similar message on his talk page after this. And, personally, I don't see a problem with the information being mentioned more than one time; it can't hurt to have it mentioned down there. ( | )
So can i make the edit now or are going to keep deleting it cause i don't really care either one works Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)
No it's not implied according to the manuel she has the ability to lift the curse that's why Bowser Kidnapped her Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)
no it fall under the category of reason like take this for example ya know koopas have the ability to fly but you don't know how or why some don't Iggykoopa (talk)
I edited it so that it simply says how she does it is currently uknown Iggykoopa (talk)
Re:Proposal
Well, as far as I know, anyone can do that and archive past proposals, I've actually done that myself a few times, but I usually just wait a day or two to make sure that the original proposer isn't going to do it themself (it just seems like a common courtesy thing, but that's just me). I don't think there's physically a rule anywhere that restricts regular users from archiving past proposals, and if it is indeed past the ending time, I believe you are within your rights to archive it...
PHOENIX (talk • edits) 00:41, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
Yeah, that seems like a good idea...normally, I would always be all "gung-ho" to archive a proposal as soon as the deadline has passed, but then I think about how, if it was my proposal, I probably wouldn't want someone else archiving it before I had the chance to, you know? Not that I'm saying you're wrong for wanting to do that, that would be pretty hypocritical of me seeing as I usually do the same thing too...okay, I'm just babbling now, but do you get what I'm trying to say...? :D
PHOENIX (talk • edits) 01:00, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
Well, I wouldn't worry, things happen fast around here, so I'm sure your opportunity will arise soon... :)

Re:FA
That's a good question, and honestly, I don't know. However, I can safely say that if Featured Article status nomination votes follow the same procedure as votes for mainspace proposals or Talk Page Proposals (and looking at the page itself, my guess would be that they do), I would have to say that doing so would most likely not be allowed (i.e. - users are under no circumstances allowed to remove another user's vote from any mainspace proposal or Talk Page Proposal, the only people who could do so would be a sysop (and maybe patrollers as well, I'm not completely sure) and the user who cast the vote in the first place, and since Featured Article nominations appear to be formatted in basically the same way as proposals, users are probably restricted from removing users' votes in those areas as well). I wouldn't worry though, if the removal of a particular user's vote is deemed absolutely necessary, a sysop will take care of it. Alternatively, you could contact a sysop yourself and ask for help if you really feel that it needs to be removed, and see what they say...

Hi... (dorky smile)
(If at any point in this discussion, you feel that I am just trying to make discussion for the sake of discussion, please tell me)
Hello, I see you've bought the 3DS at launch... Which launch titles did you buy? Bop1996 (Talk) 17:02, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
- I heard Pilotwings Resort and Steel Diver were okay... I agree, most of the good titles were held back, but at least they'll be better. Ocarina 3D is the one that most intrigued me... I mean, 3D, and none of the annoying little quirks would be there, and not having to go to the pause menu to equip the iron/hover boots (you can tell I overthought this just a little too much =P). Bop1996 (Talk) 17:25, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
- If what you just did was rambling, then I'm in trouble ;). You did a lot of research... My mom freaks out whenever I seriously research which game I want for my birthday. Last year, I spent two weeks debating between LoZ:TP and Metroid Prime Trilogy... I chose TP and bought MPT later... You forgot to mention the Metroid title undoubtedly coming out for 3DS, that should be awesome as always... Bop1996 (Talk) 20:03, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
- I know a few people who would love a Super Metroid remake... I want my money's worth too, hence the two week debate... I decided to hold off on Prime 2 and 3 as I should play Mario and Zelda in between... right now I'm conquering the endless amounts of minigames available after the first temple in LoZ:MM. I think I'll need a therapist before I'm done though, I spent 500 rupees and didn't even get the perfect score prize on the first one I attempted... Bop1996 (Talk) 20:37, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
- Well, I have no problems with that... don't be turned away by the "dark" or time limit in MM, it makes Link's character much more meaningful, along with every other NPCs, and if you play your cards right, the time limit will be 3 hours for each temple, plenty of time. And speaking of the temples, the design is very good in MM, like Forest or Water Temple fro OoT good... This will be my last message to you today, if you reply, I'll get back to you tomorrow. Bop1996 (Talk) 21:24, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
I'm pretty sure we're allowed to make the article, because a proposal passed unanimously in favor of it. It's the name and us creating the article that I'm wondering about... We've covered almost every other issue... Bop1996 (Talk) 20:24, 11 April 2011 (EDT)
- Well, there's the reply, down there... I guess we can make the article now... Just tell me which parts of the article you'd prefer to do, I can try to do any of it (Odds are you will say the same thing)... I can go now and create the article with templates, sections, and links, if you'd like. Bop1996 (Talk) 20:43, 11 April 2011 (EDT)
- I wouldn't mind if you did, but we voted in a proposal to leave User spaces for sysops and the users that own that page only. I'm creating the article now, and it won't be a stub... it will need some images. I'll leave that to you, since you own a 3DS and I don't. I'm just searching for a category to place it in now... Geekiness is an end, not a means - Bop1996 21:28, 11 April 2011 (EDT)
- I see you started as well, I'm going to go and link to the AR Games article on the pages that need it... you should fill in what I couldn't. I'm going to work on the other pages for now... Geekiness is an end, not a means - Bop1996 21:35, 11 April 2011 (EDT)
- We just need a link in the cameos or other appearances section for Lakitu, Toon Link, etc. I didn't do the images, but it might not hurt to have a lot of them or better ones. Now, the part where I diverge from ordinary people. Most people would just say, "Thanks, cool! Wanna be friends?" I don't have a problem with that, but I consider a 15 post pleasant conversation between us means we are at least on friendly speaking terms... That being said, I would be pleased if you stuck my friend userbox in your user box tower, because that is what most people think constitutes "being friends on the wiki." A comma splice??!! Thanks for removing it... I need to remove it everywhere else... OoT 3DS is releasing on June 19, press release came out this aft... Geekiness is an end, not a means - Bop1996 17:13, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
You're telling me... I've got to wait until Skyward Sword comes out. No release date for that, but it's supposed to come out after OoT 3DS... here's to hoping they changed Navi's sound effects... Bop1996 (Talk) 18:08, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
- Hey, listen. Watch for the shadows of enemies falling from the ceiling! The one time that's useful... I'd rather strangle Ingo, I lost the horse race 10 times before I won...and any Cuccos in the game would be nice targets, I mean, they can't crow for help if they can't breathe.... Bop1996 (Talk) 18:42, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
- Shotgun? More like nuclear bomb... I have this phobia about wallmasters... I knew what would happen, but it creeped me out so much that Floormasters not so much, and after the Sun's Song, ReDeads and Gibdos aren't that bad... The Epona race isn't hard, I was just used to the ultra-responsive Epona controls from Twilight Princes, so I lost because the TP Epona behaves better. Bop1996 (Talk) 19:18, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
- What I meant was that I gained good experience and mastered horseback riding in TP, but lost much of that experience due to the responsiveness being changed between games. Funny story: My first ReDead was the one in the grave by itself in Kakariko Graveyard (the one that you kill and then play the Sun's Song to make the chest appear for a heart piece). I played the Sun's Song, thinking I could wail on it until it died, not knowing that it unfreezes the first time you hit it... It was my only death the entire game, but it scared me enough that I waited until 5 hearts and Adult Link to kill it, and the Biggoron's sword to kill the others... Bop1996 (Talk) 19:47, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
- It got to the point where I would enter a room with a ReDead, play the Sun's Song, and then walk up to the ReDead and spam the Magic Spin Attack, with Biggorons's sword, it kills them in one hit. I only play Mario 64 when I'm bored and want a sandbox type game... After the crisp, clean graphics and controls of SMG 1 and 2, I find it hard to go back. I can see where the phobia comes in... Pianos with teeth (shudders). I spent an hour doing the Bottom of the Well, mostly building courage, the torture devices, and the potential to wind up in the middle of a group of hungry ReDeads as Child Link, creeped me out... Bop1996 (Talk) 20:46, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
The graphics weren't bad, it's just the difference between ten years of hard work... I beat MM2, the stinky version for iPhone... and I agree, the month(s) I spent playing SMG2 was awesome, not one level felt stale or overused... Bop1996 (Talk)
I liked the Grandmaster. Really hard, but tons of fun, and rewarding. Whomp's fortress was probably the best one to do. I spent the two months leading up to SMG2's release watching every video, piece of info, etc. I lived online then... Bop1996 (Talk)
Yeah, I grew out of IGN and moved on to Zelda Informer... Best Nintendo news site on the web, period. Now I've read almost every article posted there in the past 3 months.... Bop1996 (Talk)
Maybe I should give you your own section, like M&SG does on his talk page... Zelda Informer is a Nintendo news site, devoted mostly to Zelda, but they post Mario, Metroid, and Pokemon news too, they are some of the people who run Zelda Wiki. I mostly use that for news now... Bop1996 (Talk)

Nintendo's programming of the White Wolfos
(You can tell by the subject header that I am probably exasperated...) So I'm playing Majora's Mask, and I unlock through a special set of circumstances the ability to play as a Goron. So I'm running through the snowy area of the game, (a mountain) and there are White Wolfos all over the place (yes, they are common in MM, not just a one-appearance mini-boss like in OoT). I of course, not wanting to waste my time, just run past them. Now I was using the Bunny Hood, which for the record is the best item in all of MM because it makes you run faster and jump farther. Avoiding the Wolfos was pathetically easy with the Bunny Hood. The next time I came through that area, I was carrying an item I could only carry as Goron Link, so not only was I much slower just from being a Goron, but I was carrying a heavy object for a side quest, which made me slower. So I'm going about three times slower than I was the first time. Now get this, the Wolfos overtakes me while I'm walking through, stops, and swings. Of course, he went behind me, so I'm gone. Now I'm walking at the slowest pace you will in the entire game, and the Wolfos was still too slow to hit me. I am nominating that enemy for the worst programed enemy in the series.
Thought you'd be amused... Bop1996 (Talk)
- For the record, I had 18 hearts, two blue potions, and two fairies and fought Bongo Bongo. What I would up doing was taking the Hover Boots off, turning on the Lens of Truth, shooting one hand (I think it was the right one from my POV), running to my left to dodge the right (for him) hand, shooting the other hand, turning off the Lens of Truth right after I shot the second hand and immediately charging up a magic spin attack. Then I did jump attacks and vertical slices with the Biggoron's Sword (yes, I got it after the Water Temple, which I did before the Fire Temple). I lost around 5 hearts after I found a good strategy. And if you need cash, hit Child Link and go to that gatehouse in Castle Town, you know, the one that the ghost hunter was in at Adult Link and slash the pots and leave. Come back and get your rupees again... Bop1996 (Talk)

Re:Zelda News
Congratulations! That's actually pretty impressive beating him with what you had... Of course, being the perfectionist that I am, I had 100% by the end of the game, so I had a pretty easy time for the entire castle... Aside from jumping straight into the mouth of the Like-Like during the Shadow Barrier. I just beat each form by wailing on him like crazy. I don't know if you saw him, but Tingle the mapmaker is the world's biggest stalker, if I didn't want a map of Clock Town, I would have shot him instead of his balloon. I'd also like to suggest you let the scarecrow in the Astral Observatory tell you his secret, it's the biggest help for temples (especially when you forget to use the Lens of Truth to see that you've been shooting into a rock instead of at your target for the past 15 minutes). The thing most likely to make you run out of time is searching for stray fairies in the temples, that adds a whole new dimension of challenge... BTW, watching Reggie unveil the Wii U was one of the highlights of the past few weeks... Bop1996 (Talk)
- Hehe. The Like-Like wouldn't have been a problem if I hadn't worn the Goron tunic as a style choice. I won't spoil the rest of the abilities for you, but I'll say that they live up to their billing. The first temple had puzzle difficulty on par with the Spirit Temple, and it only gets better from there. I actually like the music better than that of OoT for some reason... I think my favorite mini-dungeon from the Zelda games I've played so far (TP, OoT, and MM) is the Terminian equivalent of the Gerudo Thieves' fortress, I had a blast with that. Agreed on the Wii U, although given the amount of praise ZeldaInformer's Alex Plant gave the motion controls and graphics direction, going back to the OoT control scheme would be painful... Mario and Metroid will probably own on Wii U, as will multiplayer. As far as pricing, I'm planning on buying it myself (my parents bought the Wii for its focus on multiplayer) and the top of my price range is $350, any higher and I'll have to ask for money for Christmas and use that money to buy the console. Bop1996 (Talk)
- Yeah, I loved the Thieves' Fortress. The Terminian equivalent doesn't just have the infiltration part, it has the most epic music present in the Zelda series to date (I'd say it beats the Dark World from ALttP and the original overworld theme by a fair margin) and a much larger, broader scope for the entire fortress. Skyward Sword is going to cover the founding of Hyrule's royal family, possibly the dark interlopers from TP, the creation of the Master Sword and the sealing of the Sacred Realm with the Master Sword. It is my theory that each race of Hyrule will be given a key to the Sacred Realm so that only someone who is friends with all the races will be able to open the Sacred Realm (see OoT). Idk how much footage of the E3 demos you saw, but the boss from the demo looked like he would be one of the dark interlopers who is the predecessor of the Twili from TP. I think I've finally got all the 3D games in a sensible arrangement in my head, but idk where ALttP and the 2D games fit in... Bop1996 (Talk)
- Miyamoto has a plan, I trust him. I don't think that the Link in OoT is the same Link as in SS, I mean, Link from OoT grows up as a Kokiri with no fairy up until the events of the game, he was obviously brought into the forest as a baby and taken care of by the Great Deku Tree. From what I've seen of Skyward Sword (being everything I could get my hands on ;)), it seems that Link will grow up in Skyloft, worship birds in some way (connection to the Oocaa?), not know anything of the world below, and be childhood friends with Zelda in a similar manner to Link/Ilia in TP (which btw was done really well imo). He'll get sucked into his adventure after Zelda's kidnapping (or rescuing? Girahim seemed to suggest that he couldn't get at her due to Zelda's disappearance). Idk how the Triforce will fit into all this; I'm guessing that Link in SS doesn't gain the Triforce, any part of it, but the Link from OoT is more of a spiritual descendant of the Link from SS and gains the Triforce of Courage due to his outstanding courage. Bop1996 (Talk)

I can't find the reason why on the relevant talk pages or the proposal archive, so I'll get back to you on that. I guess "reasonable length" is a bit vague, but I don't think the Chuck Quizmo article as it stands is long enough to be featured. --Glowsquid 07:04, 17 June 2011 (EDT)
Yes, it is
Weeeeeeelllllllll, I liked everything about the Wikitroid article better except for one thing; Wikia. I think that MetroidWiki is our NIWA affiliate because they are run by ZeldaInformer, and ZeldaInformer helps run ZeldaWiki (which btw is way better than Zeldapedia). I created a MetroidWiki account for that reason exactly, because there was so much missing. I think I wound up writing the entire Morph Ball article simply because I knew how to write it. Now, I think that linking to Wikitroid in any circumstance is bad, as NIWA is formed with the goal of being independent of Wikia. I'd much rather see an appositive giving a brief description long enough to let people know what on earth we are talking about in the interim. I am also going to say that there is a lot of positive growth on MetroidWiki, it's just not in major articles that we'd link to, it's in places like Luminoth Lore and the like. Bop1996 (Talk)
- I agree that it is a shame that Wikitroid is affiliated with Wikia. MetroidWiki already turned down an offer to merge with Wikitroid due to it requiring a move to Wikia. Sorry if I'm sounding biter, I am a little upset that there are like 5 contributors there and three are sysops who have to deal with ads and spam all the time. In short, they are having a hard time getting off the ground, and this just feels like a sign of it. Linking to wikipedia is fine imho, but the articles won't be as detailed as I'd like to have. I think I'm going to do some major work on those MetroidWiki articles we refused to link to, it'll be helping both wikis right? Bop1996 (Talk)
Removing Zero's proposal
Please don't remove other peoples' proposals, even if they wanted it removed. Only the proposer or an admin can remove a valid proposal; while they might seem arbitrary at times, rules are rules, and everyone has to follow them. - Walkazo 18:51, 24 June 2011 (EDT)
