Full name Nana, the Scarf-Knitting Granny
Age 76
Biography She's still knitting the scarf she never finished in life. It now stretches to 871 feet.
Room Nana's Room
HP 100
Heart quote Hey, it's a funny man. Should I play with him?

Nana is a portrait ghost in Area Three of Luigi's Mansion and its remake. She wears a light violet dress with colorful sleeves and triangular earrings. She has a light-blue body, a long nose, green eyes, poofy white hair, and a tooth on her lower jaw. Nana is the oldest portrait ghost, being 76. Her portrait number in the Gallery is 3.[1]

Nana is found in Nana's Room, doing her usual activity of knitting a scarf. When Luigi knocks the balls of yarn onto the floor, Nana is provoked and starts moving around on her rocking chair, shooting beams from her eyes that inflict ten HP of damage. After being hit by all three yarn balls, Nana's heart is exposed, leaving her vulnerable to the Poltergust 3000. However, if Luigi misses, Nana cackles and disappears; normally, Luigi has to exit then re-enter the room, but in the remake's Boss Rush mode, this restarts the battle.

Nana has a diary on the bookshelf stating she had once pulled a prank on Miss Petunia by using the Ice Element on her bathtub, hinting at how Luigi can defeat Miss Petunia.
