Honeyhop Galaxy is a galaxy located at World 4 in the game Super Mario Galaxy 2. The level revolves around the use of the Bee Mushroom. Honeybees are found throughout the level and teach Mario on how to use the Bee Suit. The level also features honey walls, which Mario can traverse as Bee Mario. Queen Bee is also found in this galaxy, as are many Choppahs and Octoguys.

This galaxy, with the Honeybloom Galaxy, plays a jazzy remixed tune of the Honeyhive Galaxy / Gold Leaf Galaxy theme.

Planets

The titles of the following subsections are conjectural unless otherwise noted; an official name for each section's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors.
If an acceptable name is found for a given section, then that section should be changed to the new title.

Starting Planet

A fairly big planet. There are a lot of water ponds in this galaxy, and several enemies such as Octoombas in them. There are also Choppahs that fly around honeycombs. It has a cloud with Floaty Fluff on it. Mario can either fly over to the Queen Bee Planet in Bee form or use the Floaty Fluff. Popping the balloons is optional.

Queen Bee Planet

This planet is very similar to the Queen Bee planet seen in Super Mario Galaxy, as it also includes a water floor that spouts a waterfall below. There are enemies surrounding it, with Queen Bee at the top. There are five Silver Stars scattered around this planet.

Prima Official Game Guide description

  • "The Queen Bee holds high court above Honeyhop Galaxy. If you can please her majesty, perhaps she will reward you handsomely with some Power Stars. And what's this about The Chimp hanging about, challenging galactic travelers to Octoomba-stomping contests?"
