Level EX-12 is the twelfth of the Expert levels in the Nintendo Switch remake of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. It is set in Merry Mini-Land Plus. The level requires 96 gold stars to unlock. The target time for this level's Time Attack is 30.00.
Overview[edit]
This level mandates the player to use Flower Fans to carry a Shy Guy then a key around the level to progress. The player must toss the Shy Guy into an upwards red Flower Fan, then use the Color Switches to allow the Shy Guy to float rightwards with the red and blue sideways Flower Fans. Once it settles on top of the higher platform, the player can climb the blue ladder, pick up the Shy Guy and toss it into spikes. The player must then ride the Shy Guy and crouch to squeeze through the small gap safely and progress further. Next, the player must activate the blue Flower Fans and toss the key into the gusts. Afterwards, the player needs to manipulate the red and blue Color Switches to use the colored Flower Fans to float the key towards the locked door, then reach it by climbing another blue ladder.

Present locations[edit]
- Red: At the start of the level, located near some red Flower Fans. The player must perform a Handstand Jump to ride the fans' gusts and get this present.
- Yellow: In a small gap above the pit of spikes, which the player needs to also toss a Shy Guy into in order to progress through the level.
- Blue: Located in the final maze of Flower Fans in the second half of the area, which simply requires the player to activate the red fans and jump into their gusts to reach it.
