Holly Koopa is a character in Mario Party 8. She is a female Koopa Troopa who appears on the board Shy Guy's Perplex Express. She appears to be rather wealthy and seems to be very conceited. If the player lands on the Green Space in front of Holly, she asks the player if she is allowed to have a piece of Candy if they have any. If the player says "Yes," she pays them coins in return. The number of coins she gives them is dependent on the cost of the Candy at the Candy Shop. If the player lands on the Green Space on top of the green passenger car, a Shy Guy appears, announcing that Bandit or Mowz has stolen Holly's Candy. The player must remember which car they last saw Bandit or Mowz riding in. If the player answers correctly, the Shy Guy awards them coins (20 coins in the Party Tent, 10 in Star Battle Arena).
Holly appears in the fourth match of Star Battle Arena. Here, she plays a major part in the battle. The player who has 50 coins and trades them to her before their opponent does becomes Holly's number-one fan, gets a Star from her, and wins.
The Shy Guy conductor of the train states that he has a large portion of money and that he is a big fan of Holly; however, he is too shy to meet her. In Star Battle Arena, when the player meets the Shy Guy conductor, he gives the player ten coins to give to Holly.
